Completing the expansion of the I-39/90 Corridor is critical to mobility, safety and economic development in Rock County and throughout the state of Wisconsin.
This project was approved by the Legislature and Governor with much fanfare in 2009, but has since been a casualty of our state elected officials’ inability to adequately fund the state’s highway modernization efforts. This project currently is facing a delay of at least 2 years from the schedule unveiled in 2009. This is unacceptable and threatens safety and job-creation efforts along the corridor.
The I-39/90 NOW Coalition represents diverse interests from Rock County who are dedicated to eliminating the delay in this project so state government can carry out its most basic function: Providing infrastructure investment that protects motorists, enhances our communities and provides the tools we need to create jobs and grow our economy.
Get involved in this effort to carry our message to elected officials in Madison!
